To remove taskbar icons and add nice features to your desktop: [link]

- install the fonts
- install the skin
- reboot (yes, it is better to reboot)
- choose the substyle corresponding to your icon size

What's missing:
- vertical taskbar
- shellstyle

You must know that:
- there's no "PowerOff/Logoff" buttons in Startmenu
- this skin does not use per-pixel window frames; so, you'll need YZ'Shadow or WindowFX to add shadows to the windows
- this skin is borderless so you won't be able to resize a window from its sides

Tell pls WB version, which does not hang in the process and does not consume memory, but only changes the vs, i like that enjoyed such a long time ago, but forgot

I don't remember exactly. It was two years ago.
I guess I've used WB 6.x and it was quite stable under XP.
I don't use WB anymore and I'm under Win7, now.

You must have WindowBlinds installed. Unfortuntaly, it's not a freeware
