Purpose:
Replace system resources in one go.
Developped and tested on Windows XP SP2 (with WFP disabled) Sould work on SP3, too.
It has not been tested with WFP enabled (Windows File Protection). Please, post a comment about your experience with WFP

YOU ARE STRONGLY ADVISED TO BACKUP YOUR
SYSTEM BEFORE PLAYING WITH THIS TOOL OR
BUILD A RECOVERY BOOTABLE CD. OF COURSE,
USING ALTERNATIVE SHELL IS DISCOURAGED
AS WELL AS KEEPING MANY WINDOWS OPEN
WHILE RUNNING RESOURCEBATCHER.

Installation:
You should have "Resource Hacker" (reshack.exe) on your system.
Edit "ResBatch.ini" to change program and directories locations/parsing.
You SHOULD, at least one time, take a look at "ResBatch.ini".

How-to:
Store all your new resources into sub-directories of "resources_mod".
eg. if you want to modify "explorer.exe", then "resources_mod\explorer.exe"
should contain the new resources. Only those that are to be modified should
be placed here (you can place all "explorer" resources here but it's a waste
of place)

You're a bit confused ?
OK, go to "resources_mod" and create all needed directories ("explorer.exe",
"shell32.dll", "iexplore.exe", etc)
Leave theses directories empty and run "ResBatch.exe". Cancel the reboot,
since you have not really modified the files.
Now, the "resources" folder should contain all the extracted stuff. So, you
can now copy the stuff from "resources" to "resources_mod".
Now, you can modify icons, bitmaps, avi and cursors.

Want to modifiy other resources ?
Modify the needed resources using "Resource Hacker" and save them, one by
one, as ".res" files. Use "resource-type,resource-name,language.res" as file
names. eg: "Dialog,1020,1036.res"

This sounds great, I'm going to try it out as soon as I get the chance.

PS. I want that Windows theme!

Of course :)
But it contains icons from vista and some other closed projects.
I'm currently working on an "iboga icon set" and will release stuff from time to time
